Detoxification 101 & the Toxic Body
Let’s get a deeper dive into detoxing. Detoxing is a deep cleaning of the body, & is a great way to rid your body of harmful toxins, promote overall health & help with your anti-aging remedies. Although detoxing is part of how our body functions automatically, the amount of toxic overload & burnout the modern age is placing on our organs is too high for our body to keep up and handle it all. Our liver and kidneys have a major role in detoxification, but simply put, toxins are all around us from the water we drink or shower in containing heavy metals, the processed foods & chemically sprayed produce we eat, all the way to the hormone disruptors in the skincare & beauty products we use & the polluted air we breathe. This exposure over time accumulates and over burdens our system to where it can’t function the way it can or should. If you have a splinter in your finger, it can’t heal properly until the debris is taken out. Our imbalances, deficiencies, signs & symptoms eventually lead to dis-ease, & typically can pile up to a wide range of these issues.

Therefore, when detoxing, don’t expect it to be a quick fix if these things have been piling up for a long period of time. It takes time to heal at the root cause level. It’s a process, not a bandaid or pill you take. Simply put, you can’t detox years of toxicity in a day, but you can take each day as a step in the right direction toward decreasing toxic overload, & closer toward true holistic healing for yourself.
